How to Make Protein-Rich Ranch Dressing at Home

Who doesn’t love Ranch? In my house, it’s a love language for the kids, so of course, I needed a healthier version for them. And what’s healthier than a Ranch with live and active cultures and 14 g of Protein?

How I made it?

Ingredients:
-16 oz organic Good Culture low-fat classic cottage cheese. (You can buy any brand you are happy with; I chose this one for the added Protein and live cultures.)

-2 TBSP Ranch seasoning, dressing & dip mix

Directions:
– Add cottage cheese in a glass container or storage container of choice.

-Start the immersion blender to soften and thin the cottage cheese.

-After about 2 minutes, add the Ranch seasoning

-Continue blending until the entire mixture is smooth.

Notes:
-Adjust to taste by possibly adding more seasoning.
-To thin it out a bit, add a tablespoon of milk at a time until desired consistency is achieved.

Hope you enjoy!

Homemade Sweetened Coffee Creamer Recipe

Time for a new batch of coffee creamer! I love making our own creamer. Raw Cream, with a small hint of vanilla, and half a can of condensed milk for sweetness. This is the perfect mix for us for coffee. Not sugar needed since the cream is already sweetened!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint of cream (I use Raw Cream from my heard share. But regular, organic, or any other type of cream from the grocery store works)
  • Half a can of sweetened condensed milk.
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste

    Directions:
  • Pour all ingredients into a jar with a lid, where you will keep your creamer. Mix all ingredients together well and refrigerate. If you like your creamer a little runnier, you can add milk 1/4 cup at a time. Add until desired consistency
  • Make sure to shake before each use, enjoy!

Exploring the Benefits of Raw Milk: A Personal Journey

Much to my dislike, I don’t have cows… yet. You should see my office, surrounded by all things highland cows. I am hoping one of these days, the husband will agree to a land upgrade and a few cows.

In the meantime, I’m part of a herd share for raw milk from a local source.

This week, I got half a gallon of milk (already in its glass jar) and 3 pints of cream to make all the things. Coffee creamer, butter, yogurt, and ice cream are always the family’s top picks to make.

Have you ever tried Raw Milk? Comment 🐮 If you have!

It’s natural, additive-free, and tastes amazing! Big thanks to @creambrookfarm for providing it! If you’re in Virginia, check them out!
